Audition Requirements:
What: Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka Jr.
Who: Actors Grades 3rd-12th Grade
When: Auditions will be held on Sunday, August 9th, from 1:30-8:30 pm. Callbacks will be Thursday, August 13th at 6 pm.
Where: Mosaic Church, 894 OH-28, Milford, OH 45150
Cost: if cast- Participation fee is $125* see audition letter for additional costs.
Prepare for audition:
- Slate: Introduce yourself (name, height, etc.) It’s a brief, natural moment to show personality and provide necessary details without being in character
- Song: Please prepare a 1-2 minute musical theater-style song. You must bring your own Bluetooth speaker and/or device.
- Monologue: A monologue of your own choosing that can be up to 45 seconds. Please use a published monologue and do not perform more than one character. We are looking for connection and personality.
- We will not hold a dance audition for Willy Wonka
We are excited that you have chosen to audition with Milford Youth Theater’s production of Willy Wonka Jr. Things you need to do before auditioning:
1) Please read the Audition Letter
2) Practice your song and monologue. The more you practice, the more confident you will be during your audtion.
3) Sign up for an audition slot using the following Audition Form link Make sure all information is current and complete. Please use the PARENT’s email when signing up in Theater Forms.
Photo/Resume: You will upload a photo and resume within the Audition Form.

Rehearsals
First Read Thru: Sunday, August 23rd- 3pm at Mosaic Church.
Rehearsals are Sundays 3-5, Mondays 6-8 and Thursdays 6-8. We may extend some Sunday rehearsals as we get closer to the show.
Performances will be Friday, November 13th at 7 pm and Saturday, November 14th at 1 pm and 5 pm.
